Weekly Feature Theme: My senses Week: From 10/02/2017 to 10/06/2017

What are we learning?

Dear Parents,

We hope you are having a beautiful week. This week we are going to learn about a new theme called “My senses”. The five senses are the five main tools that humans use to perceive the world. Those senses are sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. Children will understand that they can explore the world around them through their senses.

We have scheduled exciting activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences and that help kids use their senses in lots of different ways. Each one of these activities will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Children will see with their eyes, smell with their noses, listen with their ears, taste with their tongue, and touch with their skin. Children will smell different scents from fruits and touch different textures.

Thank you for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life and we hope you have a great weekend.

Song of the Week

La Canción de los Sentidos
Con mis cinco sentidos yo aprenderé

A ver todo a mí alrededor,

Con mis cinco sentidos puedo ver

El cielo con su color.

Escucharte a ti eso me hace feliz

Y sentir el sol sobre mí

Saborear la miel y poder oler

Las flores que hay en el jardín.

Con mis cinco sentidos…...

Poderte abrazar y también escuchar

Mi maestra en Sff

Oler, saborear, escuchar y sentir

El amor que sientes por mi!!

Con mis cinco sentidos….

Poems

Todos los colores

vamos a mirar.

Todos los sonidos

Vamos a escuchar
