What we are learning?

Dear Parents,
 We hope you are having a beautiful week. This is our last week of summer camp and we want to make sure children have fun while learning.  This week children will enjoy being little magicians and clowns.
 We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills so children can continue learning through experiences such as:
·         Participate in crazy hair day.
·         Enjoy a clown puppet show.
·         Explore circus animals and people working in a circus through flashcards.
·         Identify blue and red colors while playing with balls.
·         Listen to circus animal sounds and imitate them.

What we are learning?

We hope you are having a beautiful week. This week the children will learn everything about being little athletes. 
 
We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills so children can continue learning through experiences. Children will have fun while learning how to kick a ball and participating in crawling races. They will also continue touching and feeling different textures.  They will learn the concept of up and down while playing with balls of different textures and try to throw bean bags into a container while enjoying the outdoors. It will be a fun week full of exciting physical activities!

Children will be reading different storybooks and will also participate in drama play. We have scheduled learning activities related to reading so children can continue learning through experiences.

Children will enjoy discovering and exploring stories, enjoy some outdoor fun during our Splash days and cherish some fun times during Pajama Day with their classmates. They will be also touching different textures and moving toys from one container to another one, etc. It will be a fun week!

Children will enjoy Splash days and participate in several outdoor activities to discover nature and our surroundings. They will feel different textures, create the American flag, observe flashcards of plants and flowers while giving a brief description of what they see and water our plant “Chispita”.

We hope you are having a beautiful week. This week the children will learn everything about being little travelers and exploring the means of transportation that we can use to explore new places such as bus, airplane or train.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills so children can continue learning through experiences. Some of the activities children will enjoy are building and knocking down towers of soft cubes, identifying toys by colors such as green, red and blue and enjoying the outdoor time while doing a picnic in the park with their friends, etc.
